The Pirates of Lost Treasure have been helping local children at Christmas time for over 20 years with their Secret Santa Program.
Each child they sponsor is allocated $100 for toys, clothing, etc.
Because of the successful Membership Drive the PK Chamber hosted in September, we are able to donate to this most important fundraiser. We are happy to report that we are able to sponsor 20 children this year!
Last month, we asked for your help with our local food drive and the response was overwhelming. Thank you!
We would now like to respectfully ask all of our generous and supportive Chamber Members and community to come together and help match the $2000 we are donating. Please remember this is a tax deductible donation as Pirates of Lost Treasure is a 501c3.

Can you please help us spread the word to visitors and locals, via Facebook, etc., that the Flora-Bama bus will be stopping at the PK Visitors Center every 45 minutes to hour (on the hour) to shuttle people to any of the Race venues including the Wet Pits at Outcast Marina, the VIP tents at Perdido Beach Resort and Island House Hotel and Race Village at the Gulf Shores Pavilion. There is no cost! Just tips for the driver. We are encouraging people to Park and Ride from here. We also have programs and tickets for the Saturday night Gala for sale here at the VIC for $1.00 and $25.00 respectively. The Welcome Party last night went well and the one tonight is at Happy Harbor on the Line. Any other information can be found at www.thunderonthegulf.com .

The FBISF has launched it's 2011 Festival Poster Contest! Awards include $300 to the winner of the contest. The Grand Prize winner's artwork will be used on posters, t-shirts, and promotional materials, as well as in advertisements and public service announcements for Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival.
