The Purple Parrot Resort is a gated resort community features two-story Perdido Key condos as an alternative to the typically high-rise vacation. This Perdido Key resort sits on 10 acres and has a total of 114 colorful free-standing condos. When coupled with over 100 palm trees, white bahama-base road and the secluded setting the Purple Parrot Resort provides a tropical ambiance similar to an Old-Florida style resort only found around the Florida keys. The resort is not beachfront, however it is only a short distance to the beach and its location provides guests the convenience of being away from the large crowds found in front of the highrises all sharing a short span of shoreline nearly rubbing elbows with one another. We advise our guests to go to Johnson Beach National Seashore which is within a two minute drive from the front of the Purple Parrot Resort and is 7 miles long with no highrises along the beach!

The Purple Parrot Perdido Key location has a pool which is rivaled by none other in the area! This magnificent 5,000 square foot oasis has nearly 150,000 gallons of water circulating over a continuous waterfall cave and surrounding a bridge-accessible island hot tub. The pool deck is dotted with lounge chairs and rather than having lunch in the condos you can gather as a family under one of the palm leaf covered cabanas to enjoy lunch. Immediately off the pool deck is a sandy courtyard area with two volleyball nets and plenty of room for the kids to run around while mom or dad is snapping pictures for the Perdido Key vacation album. If you are among our guests traveling during the cooler months (or among those who get a little too much sun during the summer) know that having an indoor pool house is a valuable amenity. The Purple Parrot Resort also has an indoor pool house featuring a heated indoor pool, indoor hot tub, large fitness center, showers and saunas.

The entire stay was amazing! Close to the beach, not looking for sand, the pool was awesome too! Clean and family friendly. If you're looking for hustle & bustle this place is not for you. Very nice to not have all the "typical tourist traps" right outside your door.

yes: it is a paradise!
We stayed at "A Paradise Found 10c" for 11 days in May, and we extended another day because it was so beautiful there. We choose this house because of the nice pictures on the homepage - and when we arrived, we were so delighted: the house is even nicer in reality. The furniture is in a very good style, and the different wall colors in every room are very neat. The kitchen is well-resourced, too. Everything is very good condition and very clean. The location of the house inside the resort is perfect: very quiet, no automobile traffic in front of the house. we enjoyed every day so much at "The Paradise Found" and would like to say a very big thanks to the owner for making it possible. We'd love to come back!

Exactly what I needed!
I can't say enough! We So enjoyed our stay! Paula and the ladies in the office were terrific! My daughter and I don't get much 'us' time any longer since she moved to south Alabama, so I wanted some place exceptional. And I got it! With Johnson beach right there, the short drive to Joe Patty's seafood market, local little Pub's and the beautiful pool at the Purple Parrot.. We had a vacation to talk about for years. Thanks again! I am now planning to have my family reunion at the Purple Parrot this fall!

Great Stay - Great Poolside View
We loved the Lazy Daze condo. It is right by the pool and the view was beautiful. The price is also very reasonable and we will most definitely come back with our kids next time.

Parrot Head 2 Happy
Really nice place. Easy in and out of property, quiet area. I was taken, when I was sitting on the front porch at around midnight and watched 3 deer walk past me. The gym Equiptment could use an upgrade, but everything else was really great and a fully stocked kitchen (less food) was amazing. The resort my daughter was staying at was more expensive with less amenities.
