You don’t have to head to New Orleans for an authentic Mardi
Gras Celebration. North West Florida has Mardi Gras parties and parades planned
throughout the area! Let’s take a look at how Perdido Key turns its laid-back,
beach town atmosphere into a bead-throwing, moon pie tossing, good time!
“Let the good times roll” all evening long at Pensacola’s 12 th
night kick off. On Sunday, January 5 th starting at 5pm, visit the
historic streets of downtown to celebrate the 2014 Mardi Gras Season along with
the Krewes. Once there you will also see the Kings and Queens for the upcoming
season, enjoy a variety of King Cake, and visit with the town crier! Admission is free and will be all along
Palafox Street.
