The Purple Parrot has over 60 Condos that you can choose from. All of which are individually owned, so they all are very unique with their own styles. We have 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms available, so we can easily fit your needs. The one bed rooms will accommodate up to 4 people, the 2 bedrooms will accommodate up to 6 people, and the 3 bedrooms will comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. One of the best parts about staying at the Purple Parrot Resort for your family reunion is that we can help you find condos that are sometimes right next to each other! That way everyone can be in the same area, it makes things so much easier! We have condos that surround the outdoor pool, so that you’re are right next to or overlook the beautiful pool area, or we can group you on more quiet areas of the property if you’re looking to just relax and enjoy the peace. Even thought there isn’t a beach view at the Purple Parrot, this is our resort with the most amenities. Each condo has a fully equipped kitchen, with everyone you would need to cook a family sized dinner! Every condo will have a washer and dryer, which we know, with large families/groups that is a MUST. At the Purple Parrot every condo will have a cozy family style living room, which will be perfect in the larger condos to host dinner or would be great for family gatherings. No wild parties though ;)
The Resort itself is 10 acres. Right smack in the middle holds the 5,000 square ft. 150,000 gallon pool. With 150,000 gallons of water circulating over a continuous waterfall cave and surrounding a bridge-accessible island hot tub, this spot is a complete oasis. Surrounding the pool is the spacious deck where you can lounge and relax while everyone takes a swim. Also in the pool area is the new Surf City Cabana Club. Opened in Spring of 2014, the Surf City Cabana club has received some awesome reviews and continues to pull people in all year round! Oh yeah, did we mention it’s open all year round? Awesome huh? No you can enjoy some awesome food and drinks no matter what dates you come see us! You should definitely try their Spicy Fried Green Beans.. they are so good!
The Purple Parrot also has not 1 but 2 pools! Right behind the outdoor pool is the indoor pool house! If you are among our guests traveling during the cooler months (or among those who get a little too much sun during the summer) know that having an indoor pool house is a valuable amenity. There is also a fitness center, and men’s’ and women’s’ saunas! The resort is about a quarter of a mile away from the beach access point, which is about a 1 minute drive. So super close!
