A much needed asset for Perdido Key helping to make the area more pedestrian-friendly...

Today I received a notice in the mail explaining that soon Perdido Key Drive will have a multi-use path constructed from the state line all the way to the base of the bridge. I am excited as this is a step in making Perdido Key more pedestrian-friendly. Included in the letter I received was notification that there be an open house and formal presentation held on the 7th of June beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Perdido Bay United Methodist Church Activity Center. If you're in town, you should attend as at that time there will also be a discussion regarding widening Perdido Key Drive which has been a hot topic over the past few years.
