We enjoyed staying in 10c at Purple Parrot. It was tastefully decorated with beach accessories, clean and inviting. The pool was clean and enjoyable ( the main reason we picked our stay here) We enjoyed both the food and music at the shack, however beer & drink prices were a bit much. Overall we would definitely stay again.

I brought my 4 teens with me and we all had a great time! We all loved the house !! We had an issue with our a/c and the maintenance people showed up immediately and fixed it..we all had fun at the tiki bar every night listening to live music ..the area is great and has little traffic..everyone in the area has been so friendly and always helpful!

A Paradise Found was a perfect place to stay. It's decorated so cute in a beachy vibe. It has been freshly painted with some new decor. The cottage is situated with a nature preserve area behind it so there is privacy. Also, the upper deck is perfect for sunning. The resort has everything needed with 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, live music and a snack bar. Johnson's beach is close by. Would definitely recommend.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Purple Parrot. Having the condo to ourselves gave our family some much needed together time while not being tightly cramped in a hotel suite. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and my husband and I enjoyed ourselves at the tiki bar that even had live music. The condo was clean and up to date. My one and only complaint about the entire place would be the older mattress on the pull out couch, and to be honest, all pull out couches are never great. We didn't experience any construction noise or difficulty parking. The location of this resort is fantastic, just a few minutes to Johnson's Beach, about 10 minutes to Orange Beach, and 35 to Pensacola. We explored the entire area. There was never a bad meal. The most surprising place we ate at was Fisherman's Corner. It looks like a dump under the bridge, but when you get inside, there are white table clothes, incredible waitstaff, and the most amazing creole food I have ever ate. I would love to return to the Purple Parrot again.

Overall Comment
This was an outstanding place to spend our family's summer vacation. The condos are offset, so you don't get the feeling of having close neighbors. The condo was clean and up to date. My children enjoyed the beautiful outdoor pool while my husband and I took advantage of the live band and refreshing drinks at the tiki bar. The location of this rental couldn't be beat, just minutes from Johnson's Beach, and short drives into Orange Beach and a little longer drive to get to Pensacola. We explored the entire area. Perdido Key has so many wonderful restaurants, we never had a bad meal. I didn't hear any of the construction noise that some people complain about, and we never had any issues parking more than a few spaces away from the condo. It was a tropical paradise and I would definitely return.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT 10C, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT THE ONLY THINK WE NOTICED THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH TRASH BAGS
BUT THAT A SMALL ITEM ( NO WORRY MAN)
I WISH WE HAD A BBQ GRILL TO GRILL OUT SOME
BUT THE FOOD AROUND WAS GREAT, WE RECOMMENED THE FISH HOUSE ON RIGHT OFF OF 161 ORANGE BEACH.
WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR

We stayed at "A Paradise Found 10c" for 11 days in May, and we extended another day because it was so beautiful there.
We choose this house because of the nice pictures on the homepage - and when we arrived, we were so delighted: the house is even nicer in reality.
The furniture is in a very good style, and the different wall colors in every room are very neat.
The kitchen is well-resourced, too.
Everything is very good condition and very clean.
The location of the house inside the resort is perfect: very quiet, no automobile traffic in front of the house.
we enjoyed every day so much at "The Paradise Found" and would like to say a very big thanks to the owner for making it possible.
We'd love to come back!

Our family had an enjoyable vacation. We traveled to Florida for the Nations Baseball Ultimate World Series the first half of the week it was beach relaxing and the second half was baseball. Our entire team stayed at the condos and everyone had an outstanding stay.
Our condo had everything you could imagine and more. All we brought along were clothes and groceries. The pool was awesome my 5 year old had a fabulous time.
The location was excellent, it was just far enough from the hustle of the city but close enough that we were able to be where we needed to be within 30 minutes.
Our family would definately stay here in the future. :)

The place was as advertised. It was great! Information packet was great. Only minor comment would have been to be clear that bathroom tissue and garbage bags was ours to provide if needed beyond what was initially provided. Everything else in the room was superb!

We absolutely loved a Paradise Found! The house was beautifully furnished, comfortable, and quiet! The kids loved the outdoor pool and the indoor pool! While not on the beach - it is right around the corner and Johnson Beach was beautiful and private. Perdido Key is small and not as bustling as Destin and Pensacola, which we liked. The restaurants were great! We went to The Crab Trap, The Shrimp Basket, Happy Harbor, and Vallarta Mexican and never had a bad meal! We will be back, and have already recommended to friends!

The condo was amazing, clean, spacious, comfy. We enjoyed our stay at the Purple Parrot, the staff was very easy to work with. The pool area was awesome, many, many parks and beaches in the area. We Loved It !!!

Had a great time. The place was very clean and had all we needed. We rented two units 10c and 11c and had all the room the 12 of us needed. We even cooked an early Thanksgiving Dinner. fried turkey the works !!! all the comforts of home. Oh yea, the indoor pool was great for the kids since it rained the first 2 days. The outdoor pool was a great spot for pictures. We will make this a once a year spot for our Family to meet.

Excellent everything! When I thought about the value of this extremely clean, fully loaded home, versus a cookie cutter hotel room, I'll see you back at the Purple Parrot every year! We loved it!
The only downside is the steep stairs, so beware if you are traveling with a handicapped person like us. They'll have to sleep downstairs.

much better than the pictures

The colorful decor had me apprehensive at first, but absolutely loved this condo and hated to leave. however, a word to the wise, stay on the path and do not take the short cut across the sand or you will be sweeping the floors (haha). we really enjoyed the large LCD tv in the living room. the is possibly my favorite condo at the purple parrot.

My stay at Perdido Key

The home was very nice and the staff was very accomodating. I visited over the Labor Day weekend with friends. I thought of my family's annual beach trip but decided against staying at the Purple Parrott. The pool is great but with the Tiki Bar (drinking and smoking all around the pool), it is not very child friendly. That is the only downside I saw to staying at the Purple Parrott. Keep up the good work! I enjoyed my stay.

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We aim to advertise mostly to families, but I find that for short holiday weekends that many families do not travel much. They instead stay at home for a leisurely weekend. This allows for more groups of adults to vacation with us for a weekend away from work for these extended weekends. Very Enjoyable Family Vacation

We loved the location of this condo within the complex; close to the pool but off the road a little with a marsh area directly behind it. The pool was wonderful and the kids loved swimming everyday. This was great since the complex isn't right on the beach and there were some tar balls on the beach when we visited. The condo was beautifully decorated and provided all of the comforts of home.
The Tiki Bar reopened while we were there and had live music every afternoon. It made for a little bit of a party atmosphere (especially over July 4th weekend).

Just an Okay experience

Condo 10C was updated with a great theme. The unit has flat screens and nice furniture. If staying at the resort, I would recommend this condo.
Our disappointment was with the overall property condition. We stayed at the Purple Parriot when it was first built and was expecting the same look. We found several buildings needing work, grounds in poor condition. Sidewalk lights out, and the entrance in terrible condition.

Additionally, from your review I assume that the condo itself was more than "just an Okay experience." I only wanted to point that out so that future guests are reassured that this condo is better than a 2-star vacation.
The property condition is of great concern to me as the Rental Manager and just as a side note; following your departure the landscapers were out to make certain we are ready for the upcoming summer season. Upon reading your review the maintenance personnel went around to check the sidewalk lights and none of them were out. It may be possible that you were looking for them to be on earlier then when they are timed to automatically activate. Currently, the sidewalk lights are on a solar-timer which automatically turns them on at dusk. Regarding the buildings needing work; I am not sure which you are referring to as they are all maintained in equally good condition. Again, I made a walk-through to inspect the units near yours and all were in great condition - even better than before Hurricane Ivan. Concerning the entrance; your first experience here at the resort was certainly a bit different than your most stay stay and partly due to Hurricane Ivan. When you first came the entrance was on the north-side of the resort, however as a result of the 2004 hurricane season we were forced to change the entrance to the south-side of the resort. It is regretful that you felt your stay had room for improvement, but rest assured that this will serve as motivation to make certain that no one else leaves similar feedback. Great Place to Stay!

We loved this place! We were looking forward to rest and relaxation at the beach and found it here. Our kids loved the house too and the beach was very close too! Johnson beach was great - you could swim at the beach with the lifeguard or go down the road further for even more peace and quiet. I would highly recommend this place and the area!

Relaxing Vacation

A Paradise Found was the perfect place for our family. I was a little hesitant at first because I have never stayed at a place not located directly on the beach. It worked out because the beach was not too far away. The decor of the unit was great. The wall in the hallway looks like a sunset....so beautiful. It was spacious and clean...something you need when you have four kids. The porch was great and the location of the unit is tucked away so it is quiet and peaceful. If you want a place that is quiete and relaxing this is it.The management is great!!! They are extremely helpful.
