If you don’t care about the decor and updates then this is perfect! It’s right on the beach and a great location. It was clean and just what we needed, since we spent most of the time at the beach anyways. Plus it has an indoor pool which is great because you can’t predict the weather at the beach!

We hate leaving! We had a great time. Our friends we met during our 1st stay 10 years ago were also down. Our kids are now a high school sophomore and 2 college graduates. We saw the Blue Angels fly, had our first Bushwhacker at the all famous Flora Bama. We ate at Jellyfish one of our favorites, the Oystaer Bar and more. We love staying At Perdido Key. We have stayed in 704 multiple times.
There was a broken chair on the balcony. We used clear packing tape on the back so all four of us could sit together.
We always leave it as clean as when we arrive. Linens pulled, towels together, of. Purse the trash disposed of.
We had a great time. Well will see you next year.

We had a great time at Perdido Key as we do every year. I believe this was our 8 year staying in various condos at Perdido Sun.
Our condo 704 was nice but lacked in a few areas. Maybe it had just been remodeled. The hallway bathroom did not have a toilet paper holder. The toilet in the one bedroom shifted every time you stood up, like it was loose. (TMI)
The kitchen was nice but there were no hot pads to get things out of the hot oven. I had to go buy some. The dinner plates, utensils and glasses were very limited for 4 people eating 3 meals a day. I had to wash things before the next meal. Only 2 sharp knives for cutting.
The condo was clean and nicely decorated. We did enjoy our stay. They need a journal book for people to sign. It is fun to see what city and state travelers come from.
My comments are not to be mean. I was just expecting more like in our previous stays.
We will be back next year God willing.

The place is wonderful, the condo needs a few things done as far as maintenance.
The bathroom exhaust fans are noisy, the bedroom door sticks and won’t close, the ice maker runs over (shut off arm is not raising up to shut off when full), The balcony sliding door is to hard to open and close, no broom that we could find.
We still had a wonderful time and would love to come back someday.

I’ve been staying at Perdido Sun since 1988- room was very outdated and is in need of updating. Very disappointed in accommodations- missing shower curtain, worn out mattresses- but the property itself was great as always!

We had a great vacation in Perdido Key. We stayed at Perdido Sun & it was very nice & quiet. I loved the laid back atmosphere of PK & not a lot of late night craziness to keep people up. The beach was low key & quiet also. We like to go to relax. The water does NOT look like the pictures on this site. It's definitely not the clear emerald green you'd see in Destin or even Pensacola but it was very clean & the waves were great! The water is probably the only reason I would go somewhere else. Everything else was wonderful!

We loved our stay at Perdido Sun! We did not want to leave! We had a little trouble with the keys and door knob getting stuck and one of our keys was bent. Also the master toilet seat was broken and slid when you sat down but other than that our stay was awesome and we have used you in the past and will use you again!!!

My eldest son recommended Perdido Sun. I was taking the boys to Perdido Cye since 1988. My last visit was prior to " Ivan". I was so impressed by the rebuiling. Your property was just what my son from Germany and I were looking for a short vacation. From the managment to the condo was " Great, friendly and helpful". Our visit was wonderful. Beautiful and relaxing!

I arrived very late at night and with some pre-coordination from the resort management the entire process was hassle free. The location of the condo is ideal, just across the bridge from the mainland on the Florida side of the island. The building itself is well-maintained and my party enjoyed the pools and spa very much. The beach access was fantastic and the views from the 7th floor balcony were breathtaking. The unit needs some attention to the furnishings, though. The buttons on the microwave are nearly impossible to press and it tends to turn itself on at random intervals. The shower curtain in the bathroom had been ripped and should be replaced. All of the closet doors are showing their age and are difficult to keep closed. Also, the hot water is very hot, so be careful! Overall this unit is a fantastic value and provided my family with a very relaxing five day vacation on Perdido Key. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit or the resort management to my friends and family!

We had a great stay at Perdido Sun. Our condo was in the process of a much needed update! But since the weather was nice we did not spend much time in the condo. Hopefully the owners will continue to update the condo. We have not stayed at Perdido Sun since 1988, and some of the furnishing, diswasher, bathroom definitely need to be updated. However, the staff, the pool, beach chair service at Perdido Sun and the Resort Management company were super! We enjoyed our stay and since we booked on such short notice we were happy to have a place to stay. The deli and the shopping area across the street were very convenient. Perdido Sun is a great location, we will be back!

Perdido Sun 704 is very functional.

My wife and I (just the two of us) enjoyed our stay at the Perdido Sun. The staff on location was very friendly and helpful. The beach area, outdoor pool and indoor pool were all well kept and we enjoyed all three. The view from the balcony of unit 704 was fabulous!!!
The unit itself is very functional and met our needs. But, unit 704 could use a little attention: the towel bar in the master bath was broken and there was some black mold in the tub/shower; many of dishes and glassware in the kitchen cabinets was put away dirty and had to be washed before we used it; and the bedspread although very clean is worn and outdated. One major concern for anyone renting this unit especially with small children is the hot water. The hot water is very, very hot and it someone is not careful they could possibly get scalded.
Our overall experience at the Perdido Sun was absolutely great and we plan to go back again but will most like stay in another unit.

this unit needs lots of work

unit 704, Perdido Sun needs complete upgrading/modernization of kitchen and all bath areas. unit did not even have towel bars for use, all broken. The door hardware needs replacement on all interior doors. The paint is ok but all is bland color from walls to furniture. It certainly was not worth 680+ bucks for a weeks stay. All outside closets are junky and very dirty looking. All bed linens need replacement with new sheets and a new comforter. apparently the owner takes no pride or interest in his investment. we did have a good time in spite of the units problems.

We LOVED the balcony view it was great! although you couldn't see the sunrise from the angle, we love having direct view of the beach and the ocean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very accomodating to our needs.

Fun in the sun

Beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Friendly staff. Lots of activities to do on the beach. Facilities were clean. The condo was nice. Could use updated decor, but we weren't there to spend time inside, so not a big deal. We had a wonderful time!!!

As someone who NEVER wants to go back to the same condo I have to say I love this property and would go back in a heartbeat. The lobby is beautiful. I like there's a staffed desk during the day. The covered pool was awesome when it was too hot or raining. The balcony was huge and awesome. There is open beach next door and is not crowded at all. The only beef I have is our unit needed updated decor and had no w/d so we had to use the coin operated ones in basement. Had to cross the street to the bar to get quarters too. I knew that going in though so next time I'd get a unit w/better decor and a w/d & it would be perfect. We will probably be back...
