Perdido Key Resort Management is seeking the following for employment:

Facilities Maintenance Worker

We are currently accepting applications for new Maintenance team members. Position may be available following the high-season based upon office need and team member's performance. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (which are not in any hierarchical order)
o      Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
o      Performs preventive building maintenance duties, caulks windows and doors, repairs, and replaces items such as ac filters when needed.
o      Performs routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks and leaking faucets.
o      Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures.
o      Purchases supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete projects.
o      Assembles and moves furniture, hangs pictures, hang televisions, makes keys, moves and sets up tables and chairs.
o      Repairs and replaces door knobs or locks, repairs door closures, patches holes in walls.
o      Paints interior and exterior walls.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o      Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.
o      Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
o      Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of homes.
o      Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
o      Skill in reading and following assembly instructions.
o      Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
o      Skill in using hand and power tools.
o      Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, staff and the public.
o      Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. PKRM promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED and one (1) year building maintenance experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. A valid Florida driver’s license is required.

Housekeepers

We are currently accepting applications for new housekeeping team members for the Summer season. Position may be available following the high-season based upon office need and team member's performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (which are not in any hierarchical order)
o      Sanitization of condos.
o      Ability to organize condos and leave as presented before the previous guests arrived.
o      Able to follow the required timeline for cleans and have all work completed on time to the company standard.
o      Informs office via email and website immediately of any maintenance required.
o      Comfortable changing lightbulbs, air filters, batteries, etc. as needed.
o      Comfortable with a flexible schedule and last minute changes and additional work opportunities
o      Ability to work weekends and holidays.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o      Knowledge of proper sanitization requirements.
o      Knowledge of presentation and condo conditions required.
o      Able to be reached by phone anytime throughout clean.
o      Skill in reading and following instructions.
o      Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. 
o      Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, staff and the public.
o      Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
