A Night at The Ballet

A Night at The Ballet    Perdido offers more than just beach activities, especially in the fall!   As the  temperature starts to cool, there are plenty of activities to draw you indoors. This   past weekend I went to a showing of the ballet version of the Headless Horseman.   It was out in Pensacola at the Ballet Pensacola, located in Historic Downtown Seville Quarter.   Leaving from the office here in Perdido Key, it is actually just a short 25 minute drive through the heart of Pensacola to get to Seville Quarter in Pensacola.   The area abuts the scenic route to Pensacola Beach and is easy to navigate with plenty of parking.     Once seated, the director came out to explain how the first half there would be 3 different types of ballet Continue reading

Our Top Reasons Why you should rent a vacation home for your Thanksgiving trip.

Top reasons to Rent a Vacation Home for Your Thanksgiving Vacation

Plenty of Space –  Vacations home come in many shapes and sizes. You don’t have to worry about everyone cramming on the couch or even snagging a spot on the air mattress! With a vacation home, you would have plenty of room to comfortably sleep your family of 4, 6, or even 8. Most thanksgiving vacations end up with everyone sleeping in a hotel bed in the same room with other family members. It’s a great way to bring everyone together in one place, but still give everyone their own space. No Cleaning House for Guests- A lot of the time, the nervous scramble begins when mom is running around the house throwing shoes and jackets into the hall closet, making sure that no one left dirty clothes on the bathroom floor,   and

Bike Riding in Perdido

Perdido Key is home to some of the most beautiful beaches, but besides the white sandy beaches Perdido Key is known for, there is more fun to offer from the area.   Like me you may not realize Perdido Key has a park that you can bike through.   I know right, it is so beautiful and a lot of fun for just you or the entire family.   Visitors can take a bike ride through the beautiful Gulf State Park, who knew?   If you did not or cannot travel with a bike like me, no worries there are a few local bike rental places available. Beach Bike Rentals is open 7 days a week, and 12 months a year, so no matter when you visit, you can rent a bike, pretty cool right.   I decided to take my bike trip in October and the warm, not too hot weather during this time of the year was a wonderful Continue reading
