If you are coming to Pensacola soon and have not been to the Palafox Market in Downtown Pensacola this is a great experience for the whole family. Discover fresh inspiration, natural food, and shopping every Saturday from 9AM- 2PM. The market offers baked goods, fresh produce, fine art, live plants, and antiques all in a fun family environment. The vendors set up downtown on Palafox, so locals and visitors to the area can come to one great location, and experience all the best the local area has to offer. The items come from the onsite vendors who will grow, and create vegetables, fruits, herbs, and artwork that is all for sale. The market is a great place to experience new items, and where vendors create a new fan base, with around 1,000 to 5,000 customers on any given Saturday. The goods offered and vendors do change weekly to offer fresh new items that will accommodate a variety of interest. The goods offered arrive straight from the kitchen or field, and is all sold under the shady trees of Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza. There is also Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, restrooms, and water available for the vendors and patrons to create a fun and relaxing environment. There is plenty of free parking around the N. Palafox lot right across the street from the market to make it easy for visitors. If you want to stay updated on the Palafox Market look them up on Facebook, they post a weekly preview of what will be offered. Remember arrive early so you can have first pick, fresh produce goes quickly and you don’t want to miss out. There is plenty to offer at the market, but downtown also has ATM locations, restaurants, entertainment, retailers, galleries, and museums.

The market was an awesome experience for me and my husband this past Saturday. I found a great gift, got tons of baked goods, and vegetables. I spent a total of $60 bucks and came home with a lot of great items. It was a great experience getting to meet some of the vendors and wow some are really talented. I was able to ask how some of the baked goods were made and even learned how some of the vendors made their items. It is a wonderful family experience and on a beautiful day the walk through the trees is just so relaxing and enjoyable.
