Perdido Key Beach Update on coronavirus COVID19

We know everyone is very concerned about the current Coronavirus situation. We always want to have everyone's health and safety in mind and that is our number one priority. 

We are getting many calls, social media posts, and questions on what is happening locally on our beaches.  

At this time, we are not seeing any issues locally in Perdido Key. Properties are still accepting guests, people are on the beach and there is little to no disruption in towns, restaurants, or activities. Most are not large crowd venues, as a fishing charter, for example, may only have 8 people on it. So, these all seem to be operating as normal. Similarly, vacation rental homes aren’t positioned in big hotels or theme parks so folks are able to avoid the crowds and still enjoy their vacation.  

We are seeing an uptick in reservations as some families now have children off school and parents are asked to work from home. Also, some families that had plans to travel outside the US are canceling those plans and are now driving to the beaches. Most families are still comfortable coming to the beach and we have not seen any reason to tell them not to come, however, this should be your decision.
