Hurricane Sally’s Impact on Perdido Key and Operations

Our area continues to feel hurricane Sally's impact while the restoration efforts are underway. The area has begun to welcome guests back in some of the complexes, however, we're not yet a construction-free area so it's important everyone understand that Perdido Key does not currently look like it may have on your last visit.

Beach Updates:

Beach renourishment is underway - this means that in some areas the sand dunes are being rebuilt

Condo Updates

Many of the area's condo complexes still have dumpsters in the parking lot for debris while condos are being repaired.

Vacationing Updates

The Purple Parrot Resort (click on the link read the Purple Parrot-specific update) is making a lot of progress, however, the complex we undergo extensive repairs this fall/winter season.
