This unit is great!! We came for a fall break trip and the weather was perfect, except for one chilly day. The facilities are great, fast elevators, and beautiful views. Would love to stay in the area again. The cetacean dolphin cruise is a must! Good food, but not the best service this time around. Fall break may be our new favorite time to visit!

Beautiful, well appointed, and clean. We always stay at Perdido Sun when we travel. We have stayed in many different condos in this complex. This is in our top 2 picks. The complex is wonderful as well. You can not go wrong with this place.

Nicely furnished, convenient to everything. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed. The master bath was clean; however, the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. The second bedroom sheets weren’t clean, and the bath tub was dirty.
My only drawback from staying here again is the design of the balcony. The ceiling is low and it feels too enclosed. Also, the balcony furniture is dreadfully uncomfortable. We couldn’t really enjoy sitting out there.
Also, if I’m paying a fee for cleaning, don’t ask me to strip the beds and empty the trash.

My family, and I had a great time. It's our third time staying at perdido sun, and it won't be our last. Our condo was very nice, and you can tell it's very well taken care of. We ate at several of the local restaurants, and none of them disappointed. If you like toy trains, or just want to take the kids for something fun to do, I highly recommend the drive over to foley alabama for the foley train museum, and model train exhibit. We had a great vacation, and very happy with our host, and trying to figure out how soon we can get back here to do it all again.

Great location, beautiful views, condo needs cleaning

Pros: This condo is on the top floor and has great views of the ocean. It’s a quick ride in an elevator to get to the beach. The sand and water are beautiful.
Cons: The condo needs a deep clean desperately. For the amount of money we paid, I shouldn’t know that the people who were there before us like to eat noodles and ground beef, that they like to snack on Doritos or that they use purple body wash in the shower. There were food splatters on the walls, chunks of raw dried ground beef on the kitchen cabinet, large crumbs on the floor, sticky counters and food chunks stuck to the fridge handle. Having to clean your vacation rental after a 12 hour drive is not my idea of how to start a vacation. I don’t think there should be a “cleaning charge” added to the bill when you have to do your own cleaning upon arrival.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves. If the lack of cleaning could be fixed, we would be happy to come back.

We had a short getaway to the beach and absolutely loved spending our time here in the condo. Although we ate pizza and takeaway the whole time, the kitchen we stocked well enough for us to have enjoyed a full week vacation eating-in. We will definitely be back.

Beach Front Bliss

Lovely week on this ocean front condo! Pictures are accurate. Everything you need in condo. Extra details not in other reviews: Each bedroom has direct access to the bathroom offering privacy for 2 couples. Master does NOT have a ceiling fan, but there is a large floor fan available plus a small fan too. Master room has it's own door to balcony which was nice so as not to disturb guests on his bed if in use. Front closet by door has a surf board, 3 beach chairs, & 2 wicker mats, & misc beach toys. Hairdryer & straightener in master bath drawer. The jigsaw puzzles were fun for a couple rainy evenings. Plenty of linen and variety of pillows provided with firm mattresses. Every kitchen item/small appliance you need with full sized washer & dryer. 1 roll each of paper towels & TP, salt/pepper, & coffee filters in room only. There is a Publix & Winn Dixie close by. The management company is DIRECTLY across street from condo which is where you go to pick up your keys. Bring your own beach towels. Direct access to beach via 2 walkways which have showers on each. No issues with theft so stake out your spot of the beach with your chairs early as it gets busy! There is a shallow sandbar that goes out a ways before becoming deep. This a beautiful white sandy beach which is friendly for children while offering big enough waves to "surf" in. Dolphins come by every morning about 8 am, too, bring some binoculars! They offer jet skis, parasailing, and banana tube rides right at the beach too for additional fees. The condo itself is lovely and well maintained and near many restaurants & shops. It is not as crowded and busy as those down on Orange Beach area where traffic gets backed up. Make sure to go to the Oyster Bar for superb fine dining meal or down to The Gulf for outdoor casual meal where you can watch the yachts come in from Gulf! Have Fun!!!

We stayed in Perdido Sun 1108 for the second time, last year we stayed in a different unit. It is a well outfitted condo with everything we need for our family of 5. The kitchen is very well stocked. The small sofa bed in the second bedroom is not very comfortable but the sofa bed in the living room is fine. There was a little more wear this year but this is still a nice place. The beach is perfect, having an indoor pool and hot tub are great for colder/rainy days. The fitness room is not very good. Perdido Key is a great area to vacation.

Wonderful stay at Perdido Sun

We were happy with all aspects of our stay. J.D. & the staff at Perdido Key Resort Management were always helpful and friendly, the same for the Perdido Sun Resort staff. The furniture in 1108 is above average, also the linens, kitchen utensils and appliances. The beach is great, indoor pool nice for cool days. Rate 5-star!

Awesome beach location and views

The location is awesome, right on the beach. You can enjoy the sunset from the king room. The room ammenities were everything we needed. It is as if you are in your own home, so don't expect much service. If you go through a property company or realator you will have to contact them for any issue. The facility is well taken care of. Great pool (indoor and out) as well as the beach front of the gulf. Every morning we could see dolphins moving up the coast from our balcony, hear the waves and enjoy a leasurely morning. The beach front is well taken care of. If you are willing to spend $20 a day for beach chair and umbrella...you just need your towel and cold beverage to enjoy the beach. Come and go as you please. We are thinking about going again maybe a little later in the fall as august was warm and humid but certainly okay.

Relaxation at Its Best!

Our recent stay at Perdido Sun 1108 was the most relaxing vacation my family has ever enjoyed. The condo was clean and perfectly decorated and supplied with every amenity needed to make our vacation on the Perdido beaches perfect. We especially enjoyed the variety of pools and hot tub on the location, and of course, the absolutely perfect beaches. We are already planning our stay at Perdido next year...I hope to be able to come back to Perdido Sun 1108!

We very much enjoyed our stay in condo 1108. The furnishings were comfortable and stocked kitchen was perfect. The building and grounds were meticulously maintained, and the staff were friendly and warm. There's no other place to stay for us in Pensacola anymore except Perdido.

Wonderful Time at the Beach/Beautiful Condo

We had an awesome time in Perdido Key. The ocean was clear and beautiful. The Condo was decorated so nice . Both bedrooms and Living Room was furnished with flat screen Tv's. The beds were really comfortable and having two full size bathrooms was a plus. We hope to come back next year and we would love to rent the same Condo.

I simply loved the condo and the area. The condo itself was comletely furnished and felt like home. The hot tub and indoor pool were wonderful. I met the most amazing people and attended several snowbird activities. I already have made plans to return next year. JD was great and so helpful when making my reservation and following up on questions I had. I would highly recommend Perdido Key to all my friends.

We had a wonderful month stay at the Perdido Sun. It was great to be able to check in and check out at the front desk. The condo was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. We saw dolphins and string rays from our balcony. Had a few cool mornings so really enjoyed having the heated indoor pool. It was great having the quiet beaches of Perdido and yet being close enough to surrounding towns if you wanted to get out and do things. The Naval museum is worth a visit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. When we take a vacation we go to relax! This was the perfect place for that. I enjoyed every part of our vacation.

OUR FIRST FAMILY VACATION WITH KIDS AND GRANDKIDS IN ALMOST SIX YEARS (WITH ONE ADDITION SINCE THE LAST VACATION). WE HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME. THE BEACH WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL, FAR DIFFERENT THAN THE BEACHES HERE IN TEXAS. OUR CONDO WAS ESPECIALLY NICE. EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED WAS PROVIDED AND THE DECOR WAS LOVELY. WASN'T SURE IN THE PICTURES ABOUT THE GREEN WALLS, BUT IT WAS PRECIOUS. THINKING ABOUT DOING A ROOM AT HOME IN IT. A GOOD PLACE TO JUST KICK BACK AND RELAX. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR TIME TOGETHER ONE FILLED WITH SPECIALS MEMORIES!!!!!!!
