Purple Parrot- the place to stay!

Wonderful stay at a wonderful location! Close to everything in Perdido and very quiet and relaxing environment. I sat on the screened porch at night and enjoyed every moment of it! The place was clean and cool when I arrived and everything was as it appeared in the listing. Had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway!

Perdido Key is a well kept secret. The beaches are beautiful. It's peaceful & quiet this time of year. It is the perfect winter get away. No crowds just you & a very few people on the beach. We will be back!

The Purple Parrot is such a cute place. We loved the whole layout of it and all the colors of the condos. We also loved that you can walk to the pool to swim or get something to eat or drink. We went to Johnson Beach 2 of our 5 days and it's beautiful and the drive there isn't bad at all. The size of the condo was perfect for my family of 2. Sitting on the porch at night was a favorite for us too. We truly loved our stay. The only thing that I wish could be fixed is the road around the condos, there are some potholes that desperately need some attention. Precious memories were made here with my family...thank you !!!

Excellent weekend getaway!

My wife and I took a weekend together without kids. We could not have picked a better spot then the Purple Parrot Village Resort. Neither of us have one complaint at all and the accommodations were excellent, private and much better than a hotel will ever be. We were about a block from the beach with excellent access to anything around. We will certainly be back.

When we fiirst checked in we were somewhat disappointed but quickly realized it was because of the circumstances causing us to be there. If I had been looking for a place "close to the beach" this would have been fine, although the walk was on a very busy road with no sidewalks . The pool was fine but I didn't understand the rule posted about only food and drink allowed that had been purchase at the Tiki Bar because as far as we could see, that was not open. Staff was very nice, but the bathtub was extremely dirty when we checked in. I was thankful there were cleaning supplies on hand.

Thanks for the feedback. The switch into this condo from your scheduled condo had us a little behind on having it ready and for that I apologize. Since the condo you were supposed to be in, which was in a different resort, flooded the day before arrival we were doing our best to find a place for you to stay. The housekeepers weren't quite done with this one as it was a last-minute change on their schedule. The bar is closed, so at this time guests are welcome to bring food and drinks onto the pool as long as no glass is brought out to the pool deck. Glad you had a good time and I hope that the discount coupled with the effort to find accommodations for you helped make the stay a good one. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
