20 c Purple Parrot Resort

We really enjoyed our stay! The house we rented was lovely! Gorgeous decorating. We arrived early and were allowed to arrive early which was nice, but I question if we interrupted the cleaning. The condo was not as clean as it could have been-- dust, hairs, a few dead bugs, a powder room counter that has a pool of dis colored water and is falling apart. Also, it is important to leave a few big trash bags for trash disposal. We went to Publix and purchased trash bags, but I believe that it would be in the resorts best interest to leave more than one for a family of 6 who is staying eight days. Also, the fitness room and drinking fountains in the indoor pool need attention. We had 5 days of rain-- so we noticed the lax housekeeping.

we were originally scheduled to stay at the Escape Plan however due to difficulties with the key pad, and unsuccessful attempts at getting inside we were relocated to another unit. I believe this unit was 9c maybe? this was frustrating as it caused us to make 3 trips to the main office trying to obtain different keys etc. the representative at the office was very friendly and helpful. She relocated us to a different unit which was great!

Loved our stay! Second time at the Purple Parrot & will certainly be back. Born and raised here but have called Alaska home for 30 years now. We enjoyed perfect weather the entire trip. Only 7 more years until we return to retire! Thank you for a beautiful place to stay! The Alaskan Howards.

Our family and friends gathered here from California, Connecticut, New York, and North Carolina, as well as Florida! For my sisters 50th anniversary ere in beautiful Pensacola where she has lived for the past 10 years! Yes they were greeted here by the hurricane in their 1st year, fortunately they experienced little damage. Absolutely lovely, unanimously your home was rated as the nicest condo. Beautifully furnished & lovely decorated. We all give this warm and loving residence a 5 star rating and will highly recommend!

First time in Perdido Key - can't wait to come back!

Reviewed on Friday, June 19, 2015

Our family, along with our friends' family, stayed at The Escape Plan 20C during our weeklong vacation in Perdido Key and it was amazing! The house had everything we needed and plenty of room for all of us to spread out and enjoy a week of relaxation and fun. The house was beautifully decorated and looked like a page out of a magazine. I loved being able to park right outside our door because we constantly had armfuls of beach gear, toys, and/or groceries to bring to and from the cars and did not have to go far to unload. It also made packing a breeze on our last day. The house had a covered, screened-in porch which provided a little extra storage for all of our beach stuff, but also a wonderful way to get some fresh air and relax on the porch swing or patio furniture. Each bedroom had a flatscreen TV with a DVD player which was great for all the kids when they needed time out of the sun and could pile into bed together and watch movies. (Bring your own movies; the unit did not have any.) We were grateful to have a full-sized washing machine and dryer in the house, as we did loads of laundry throughout the week. The pool is very close to the house and was great fun. The pool itself was large and had a waterfall and hot tub. All of the kids had a fantastic time swimming and playing in the pool. They also had a great sand area just off of the pool with corn hole boards set up and I believe beach volleyball courts. On the Friday before we left, the Purple Parrot hosted a cute little outdoor market where various vendors came in and set up tables to showcase their stuff. It was a nice little surprise and fun to walk around and peruse the great merchandise. The only "con" we experienced at the house was not being able to find the Xbox console that was advertised in the written description of the unit, which was a small factor in our decision to go with this unit. Our kids were mostly boys ranging from ages 8-13 and they were disappointed to find out that there was no Xbox. Not a big deal for the adults, but the kids were sad about that. Overall, we loved being in Perdido Key because it's not super busy, but it's not too far from the grocery store or the bigger attractions down the road in Orange Beach. I think we've found our favoirte beach spot and hope to come back year after year! Thanks to the Perdido Key Resort Management team for being so easy to work with! They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

Hangout Festival Weekend

Reviewed on Sunday, May 17, 2015

Had a great weekend, all six of us went to the Hangout Festival and had a blast. Kane, Brittany, Drew, Jessica, Whitney, and Shaun. We are all hungover, tired, and sunburned. It was all worth it, but now we are dreading the drive back home. This beach house was a great investment for all of the memories that will be made here. Lord know we made a lot this weekend. Thanks for providing us with a place to stay for one of the funnest weekends of my life. Hope to do it again next year.

Great House and Resort

Reviewed on Monday, August 19, 2013

We stayed 4 nignts in August and the house was well cleaned and had plenty of initial towels and necessities to get us srarted. Having the washer and dryer is a big plus. ..The house is well furnished and having tv's and high speed internet in each bedroom was a big plus for night time enjoyment. I would highly recommend this unit as well as the Purple Parrot Resort. The pool and bar area are really nice at the resort, only thing that would of made it better if the waterfalls at the pool would of been working, not sure what was going on there. The area and beaches around the area are really nice. We would stay here again if we come back to this area.

Took my daughters, soninlaw and two grandkids to visit my parents who live in Pensacola. We have stayed at the Purple Parrot before and loved it. This was the first time we stayed at "The Escape Plan 20c" The place was perfect! Love the accomadations, it was clean, and everything worked fantastic. Wish that the bar at the pool was stocked and open becase the last time we stayed there was a bar, and music in the evening so missed that. BUT again, the Place was super!!!!

October in paradise

Reviewed on Thursday, November 1, 2012

Spent October at the Escape Plan, Purple Parrot Village Resort in Perdido Key. The Escape Plan had everything we needed for our stay. Three bedrooms and 2 full and one half bath, perfect for 2 families. Everything was clean and well kept. Parking was just outside our door, so we did not have to cary anything too far. We loved the pool, hot tub and indoor pool. The waterfall at the pool is so relaxing. We went to the beach everyday at Johnson's Beach. We love the location of the Purple Parrot. Public beach access or Johnson's Beach just a couple of blocks away, grocery and other stores just across the bridge. We went to Pensacola on a few day trips, not to far and had a great time. We found the greatest seafood market (Joe Padi's) on our way back from Pensacola, made it our regular stop for fresh seafood and desert. Were from Louisiana so we had to make seafood Gumbo. We will miss the Purple Parrot until next year we will go back!

Great Visit and Good accomodations

We had a great time! The condo was great, we had a day when the aC went out but we contacted the maintenance person and the owner showed up within the hour. Ac fixed that evening, no problem. The only items we would provide as feedback, the washer and dryer is great, Nice Tv's in every room ! The cooking equipment needs to be looked at (not easy to control heat, burns items easily even on low or used as directed). Thanks for providing Wifi! We moved to another condo and it did not have Wifi:(

What a great place to stay!!!

We were looking for a family resort to stay at during our vacation and we found the perfect place! With the house location just across the way from the swimming pool, we could make come and go easily. One of our favorite things about The Escape Plan is that not only do they have keys to get into the house, they had a key pad that allows you in. This was great when we had our hands full and did not have to search for the keys. We had seven people staying and still had plenty of room. Without a doubt we will return to this fabulous place!!!

Fantastic!!

Reviewed on Wednesday, May 30, 2012

We rented The Escape Plan have a family reunion with our son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters. We had a fantastic time!! The house was great. We felt that the indoor pool was a little cold and the weather was way to cold to enjoy that great looking outdoor pool. Probably the worst thing was that the master bed squeaked very loudly when you just slightly moved. Also, the Teflon on the pots and pans were peeling up -- didn't look too safe to use.

Great place to stay!

We had a great time at the Purple Parrot. The place was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and excercise room frequently. We were disappointed that the Tiki Bar was closed but it will not prevent us from returning. Hope to come back soon.

Thank You or the use of the home. By far the best accomidations to date. The house was beautiful spacious and very clean. We enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen so we could cook and save money on food. The home owners did a wonderful job on making it feel like a true home and not a vacation spot.Since we actually had our parents with us it was great to have theextra space. Music was a little loud on the weekend especially for people who are not the parting type but overall the ground and amenities were perfect for our family. I hope to return again. Thank you again for the beauiful accomidations.
